＊ゲルガナ・Ｒ・ペトコヴァ博士は、これまでに2002年と2007年の2度にわたって成城大学民俗学研究所に研究留学するなど、長年にわたって日本の昔話研究を行ってこられました。日本の昔話研究によりスイス・チューリッヒ大学で博士号（Ph.D）を取得後、母国ブルガリアのソフィア大学で日本語・日本文化の研究・教育にあたられています。講演では、ブルガリアにおける日本語・日本文化の教育と受容についてお話していただきます。

Dr. Gergana R. Petkova conducted her doctoral and post-doctoral research on Japanese folk tales in 2002 and 2007 as a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Folklore Studies here at Seijo University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Zurich in Switzerland and is now Chief Assistant Professor of Japanese Studies at Sofia University. Currently a Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Fellow and a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Folklore Studies/the Center for Glocal Studies, Dr. Petkova will discuss in her talk how Japanese culture is received within educational environments in Bulgaria.
