The Graduate School of Literature

The goal of the four graduate schools of Seijo University is to produce individuals who are well versed in the theory and practice of their discipline, contribute to the development of culture, and are instrumental in fostering welfare as well as human dignity. Students in our master's programs explore the breadth of their chosen fields of study, while students in our doctoral programs focus on depth as they cultivate their own specialties through original research.

The Graduate School of Literature consists of six programs corresponding to the six undergraduate departments of the Faculty of Arts and Literature of Seijo University. Each program is taught by outstanding scholars who are engaged in exciting new academic research. Classes are uniformly small, allowing for a constructive learning experience and detailed thesis and dissertation advising. Our graduate school has credit transfer agreements with graduate schools at Seikei University and Musashi University to enhance scholarly exchanges among graduate students.
