In 1977, the Faculty of Law was established as the third faculty of the University, after Economics and Arts and Literature. At present, we have 28 faculty members, including 18 professors, 6 associate professors and 4 lecturers, and have a total of 1,100 undergraduate students enrolled. The relatively small scale of the Faculty, compared to other law faculties in Japan, enables its students to benefit from small classes, enabling close relationships to be forged with classmates and teaching staff alike. Since its founding, the Faculty of Law aims to train and produce law graduates with a global outlook. In keeping with Seijo Gakuen's founding education principles, we encourage individuality through small classes. The Faculty endeavors to provide education in law that is practical, of social relevance and suited to needs of the new era. |
